A beautiful quiet house to enjoy the surrounding nature. The house is large and very nice with a large living space and a beautiful outdoor space, fully secure. Clean, comfortable, well appointed bedding. The neighborhood is quiet and the neighbors are very friendly. Great location for starting point to Pico Duarte (with a guide) or just enjoy the Rio and hikes. We had no car and had no trouble coming by public transport from Jarabacoa. Small grocery store about 10 min walk and downtown Manabao a little further walk (40 min). Extremely responsive, available and very helpful host. Really, if the silence of nature and the crowing of the morning rooster don’t bother you so you won’t regret your stay here. I highly recommend it.
